Method
- Soak flaked rice in water for a minute and keep in a strainer to drain extra water.
- In a casserole, take oil and heat on HIGH power for 50 seconds.
- To this add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and other spices. Cook on HIGH for 1 minute.
- Now add chopped onions, peas, mustard seeds, curry leaves and other spices.Cook on HIGH power for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir it and add soaked flaked rice, nuts & microwave it on HIGH power for 2 minutes.
- Stand it for 2 minutes and serve with pudina chutney.
