Ingredient

Flaked rice200 gm
Large Onion (chopped)1
Boiled Peas1/2 cup
Oil1/2 tablespoon
Green chillies (chopped)2-3 
Curry leaves5-6
Mustard seeds1 tea spoon 
Turmeric powder1/4 tea spoon
Roasted peanuts1 table spoon 
Almonds1 table spoon
Asafoetida1 table spoon
Salt and Pepper to tasteDesired amount 

Method

  • Soak flaked rice in water for a minute and keep in a strainer to drain extra water.
  • In a casserole, take oil and heat on HIGH power for 50 seconds.
  • To this add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and other spices. Cook on HIGH for 1 minute.
  • Now add chopped onions, peas, mustard seeds, curry leaves and other spices.Cook on HIGH power for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir it and add soaked flaked rice, nuts & microwave it on HIGH power for 2 minutes.
  • Stand it for 2 minutes and serve with pudina chutney.
